Taylor-Swift
Taylor Swift, full Taylor Alison Swift. American singer/songwriter who's had great fame with the stories she tells of her young heartbreak. Swift was interested in music from an early stage of her life. She quickly moved up the ranks, beginning as a child actor and eventually singing in front of an audience of thousands. As Swift sang The Star-Spangled Banner in front of the Philadelphia 76ers at a game at age 11 she had already begun creating songs. In the following year, she began playing guitar. Swift composed original music that was inspired by country musicians like Shania Twain (now known as the Chicks), and Dixie Chicks. Her material reflected Swift's experiences with tweens and the feeling of alienation. Swift was 13 when her parents made the choice to let go of their Pennsylvania farm to relocate towards Hendersonville Tennessee. She could spend all of her time to reaching out to country labels located in Nashville.
