Anoushka Shankar

Anoushka Shankar is a British-American sitarist and musician. She was the first woman within her age bracket to be a member of an award from the British House of Commons Staff. Anoushka Shankar is a rising young star of the Indian sitar. She is the daughter and student of Ravi Shankar. Her childhood was spent bouncing between London and New Delhi. Her first performance took place on stage in New Delhi when she was only 13 years old. In 1999, she completed her high school studies in Encinitas CA. Anouskha is yet to be a mature woman nevertheless, she has an amazing career in singing and recording. She is often seen performing with her dad and has been doing so for many years.
